FHLBank Chicago members are required to submit a Community Support Statement (CSS) to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) every two years to document their Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) performance and record of lending to first-time homebuyers. We recommend our members submit their CSS as soon as possible. Failure to submit will result in loss of access to FHLBank long-term credit and Community Investment products. All submissions must be complete by October 31, 2023.
