Internal Systems Upgrade – eBanking and Monthly Transactions Report Issues
FHLBank Chicago has been experiencing operational issues within our eBanking platform impacting online services and reporting to our members. These issues are related to an internal system upgrade performed on March 15, 2025, and there is currently no indication of any external or unauthorized actions affecting our systems.
This system upgrade and additional technical issues may have caused members to experience the following within eBanking:
- Inaccurate or delayed daily investment deposit (DID) account balances
- Offsetting adjustments on Daily Transactions reports and Monthly Transactions reports
- Online advance transactions, letters of credit, wires, and transfers temporarily unavailable
While our FHLBank Chicago team continues to resolve these issues, we are providing the following updates and guidance for your institution:
- Access to online advance transactions, letters of credit, wires, and transfers have been restored.
- On March 31, 2025, FHLBank Chicago began providing Monthly Transactions reports by email daily from fhlbcmemberinformation@fhlbc.com. We will continue to provide these reports Monday through Friday, until all issues are resolved in eBanking. Please use the balances reflected in these emailed reports for your official statement of record, as those pulled from eBanking are temporarily inaccurate. If you are an FHLBank Chicago member and have not been receiving these emails from fhlbcmemberinformation@fhlbc.com, please reach out to your Sales Director.
We will notify our members as these issues are resolved and there is additional reporting direction.
