Julie Nelson has worked in health care and services for people experiencing homelessness for 20 years. As Associate Director for the Illinois Team at Corporation for Supportive Housing (CSH), Ms. Nelson works on initiatives centering housing as a healthcare invention and increasing supportive housing options for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Prior to joining CSH, she was Program Director at Together4Health, a Medicaid managed care option for seniors and people with disabilities in Illinois. Julie earned a master’s degree in public health from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
