Allison Clements is Executive Director of the Illinois Housing Council (IHC), a statewide nonprofit membership organization created to promote the stabilization of Illinois communities through the construction and preservation of affordable housing. In this role, Ms. Clements advocates for legislation, policies, and best practices that will advance affordable housing across the state. Prior to her role at IHC, Ms. Clements served for over seven years as Director of Housing Initiatives at the Metropolitan Mayors Caucus. Ms. Clements currently serves on the Illinois State Housing Task Force and is a member of the Leadership Committee of The Preservation Compact.
